Big Brother Naija: Ilebaye Clinches #120 Million Grand Prize

The Big Brother Naija All Stars season has finally come to an end with Ilebaye clinching the much-coveted grand prize. She goes home with a cash prize of #120 million, a weekend getaway for two, and a brand-new SUV amongst other rewards.

The 22-year-old Gen-Z baddie got evicted from the 2022 BBNaija Level Up Season just after a few weeks but came out victorious this season, leaving Mercy as the first runner-up. 

Ilebaye is the third woman to win the Big Brother finale after Mercy and Phyna. 

Cee-C, came in third after Mercy. Adekunle was revealed as the third runner-up while Pere and Cross came fourth and fifth respectively.

She came into the house as the youngest housemate and had a lot of controversies about her on social media. There were constant discussions on whether her controversial moments were strategic ploys or not.

Despite experiencing some harsh times in the house, her online presence was unwavering and dominant. From Ike throwing her clothes outside to different altercations with other housemates, she was strong till the very end.

Ilebaye, whose full name is Ilebaye Precious Odiniya is a native of the Kaba tribe in Kogi State. She is a Criminology and Security Studies graduate from Salem University, Lokoja. She is an entrepreneur, a model and an actress. As a child, she appeared in prominent Wale Adenuga Productions TV shows like Super Story, Nnenna and Friends and Papa Ajasco. Also, she won the Finest Girl Democracy Nigeria 2021 (FGDN) beauty pageant.

The governor of Kogi State, Mr Yahya Bello has congratulated Ilebaye. He said, “Ilebaye, you are a trendsetter and Kogi’s pride who has excelled in both academic and social spheres. This victory is a testament to your brilliance, intellect and maturity. Your determination, resilience and poise set you apart during the three months you spent in the house”. The governor expressed his pleasure on her win, as a win for her is a win for the entirety of Kogi State.

Her strategy surely paid off as many people were surprised at her win.
