NEW: BNXN Drops Long-awaited Debut Album

Daniel Benson, known professionally as BNXN and f.k.a Buju has released his long-awaited album. The album, a work of art with 15 tracks, was released on October 5, 2023.

Previously released hits such as “Sweet Tea”(Aduke), “Gwagwalada” and “PRAY” appear on the album. The album showcases his musical flexibility through collaborations with artists like 2Baba, Popcaan, Headie One and Taves.

This debut album offers the audience a chance to BNXN’s innermost thoughts and feelings. The lyrics exude elegance and class. “I wanted to give people a very direct experience of my life since (his 2022 EP) Bad Since ’97. I shaped this album as a letter, or envelope, of emotions. It’s very vulnerable because I felt a lot of things and put all that into the music. I want people to be involved in my life, in some sense”, he tells Apple Music. “There are songs for solemnity, reflection, heartbreak and acceptance. I wanted to make people happy at the same time, so it’s a feel-good experience”. He talks about key tracks from the album with Apple Music.

“Gwagwalada” (with Kizz Daniel and Seyi Vibes)

Amapiano came, reached a high level and has not left…. I still haven’t been to Gwagwalada but I’ve heard about it; it’s not the most popular place. I was trying to describe going from a place of high valuation to a low valuation. Places have a huge effect on the kind of sounds I decide to make. You’re influenced by what you hear in the clubs, on the streets or what you hear the next man singing….

“On ‘PRAY’, I was reflecting on my journey and how far I’ve come…. This song is asking God for assistance on this path I’ve chosen for myself”.

“Sincerely, Benson” is a breath of fresh air from a prolific and highly talented musician and record producer with impressive penmanship.

Listen to “Sincerely, Benson”, you will surely love it.
