Erigga, also known as Erigga PaperBoi, has released a trailblazing album titled “Family Time“.
This album is a traditional rap with a fusion of rich Pidgin English. It features artists like Kyla. E, Victor A.D, Zlatan, Corizo, Gee Baller, Savage and Krista.
“Family Time”, Erigga’s 6th studio album, transcends all cultural boundaries. Majorly, it focuses on social vices and the struggles every hardworking person faces. The album is a felicitation of lyrical proficiency and linguistic diversity.
It begins with a tale of teenage struggles with drug abuse and failed promises from leaders. The intro also hammers on how consistency can help overcome every strife.
Zlatan makes relatable comparisons with street slang in “Family Time” and Victor A.D. carries the chorus on with ardent mastery. The Warri dialect saturates “Wide Awake“.
“Good Girl No Dey Pay” is a mockery of advice to girls to do whatever they can to get what they want.
“Glasses In The Air” gives accolades to every resilient person who works earnestly in the hopes of better days.

“Tinke” brings on a surprising dancehall vibe; “Saddest Days” recounts the experiences of the singer while growing up.
This album’s uniqueness is evident in the way Erigga added voice notes in the medial part to incite relatability. Prayers and affirmations are the themes these 17 tracks have in common.
In an interview with Tacha of Cool FM, Erigga declared that he knows the way to people’s hearts and he is always striving to be better.
He said, “…One thing in all these is artists’ development. I know how to connect and build connections with people, that’s why I said my album is a full package. The songs I sang on the stage were written 12 years ago….”
Erigga is a native of Warri, Delta and he has been active since 2008.
