Asake and Burna Boy were nominated for the highly-coveted International Artist of the Year award alongside top global stars like Caroline Polachek, CMAT, Kylie Minogue, Lana Del Ray, Miley Cyrus, Olivia Rodrigo, SZA and Taylor Swift.
Rema was nominated for the International Song of the Year award for his hit single ‘Calm Down’. Other artists in the same category are Billie Eilish, David Kushner, Doja Cat, Jazzy, Libianca, Meghan Trainor, Miley Cyrus, Noah Kahan, Oliver Tree & Robin Schulz, Olivia Rodrigo, Peggy Gou, SZA, Tate McRae and budding South-African artist Tyla.
