Embattled singer Lil Frosh has come out to clear his name amid domestic abuse allegations against his girlfriend, Cute Geminme.
Lil Frosh resurfaced to shed more light on the controversy of 2021 after his ex-girlfriend was accused of bullying a TikToker.
He shared images of Cute Geminme’s swollen face, explaining that it was an allergic reaction to something she ate. He explained that he took her to the hospital but the allergy only got worse.
“See how everything started on her face. It started with a reaction that caused a boil. We even went to the pharmacy to check what happened to her. Sadly, after medication, the condition worsened. When it became really big, they turned the story that I hit her and presented these pictures as evidence.
“I tried to explain but nobody wanted to hear me out. That was the peak of my career. I begged but they refused to stop. They collected money and left me empty, with no label, and no love. They turned my fans against me, turned Nigerians against me.
“At one point, I almost ended it all. Seeing the people I started music with became way bigger than me. My life was bad news, no motivation anywhere. Please, guys, help me beg @davido for a second chance.
” Furthermore, Lil Frosh went ahead to post screenshots of his conversation with Cute Geminme where the latter begs him to take her back.
After appealing to Davido for a contract reinstatement, the latter allegedly followed him back on social media.
Some social media users blamed Lil Frosh for not speaking up until his career took a southward turn. Also, some advised him to sue Cute Geminme.
